On July 13, 2018 Germany’s Federal Cartel Office approved the acquisition of Stanz- und LaserTechnik Jessen GmbH by the Feintool Group. The acquisition contract signed on June 27, 2018 was closed on August 01.
The transition audit from ISO/TS 16949:2009 to IATF 16949:2016 has been successfully completed. The new certificates are valid until April 2021, see download area.
The monitoring audit to verify compliance with the requirements for the quality management system according to ISO/TS 16949:2009 and ISO 9001:2008 has been successfully completed. The new certificates are valid until September 2018, see download area.
Expansion of individual capacities
To meet the growing demand for single notched laminations Stanz- und LaserTechnik Jessen has invested in additional capacities. The single notching technology is an economical solution when the requirements are too high, in order to manufacture the laminations by laser cutting. With the additional equipment, smaller diameters to 100 mm (nut ground, cutting diameter) can be produced now.
We are investigating into additional production capacities for metal-plastic composites:
From now an automated manufacturing cell with spraying machine, robot handling for insertion and removal of parts from the injection mold is available to serve further demands on injection-molded slot insulations. If necessary, the overmolded stacks can be deburred optional.
With the Stanz- und Lasertechnik Jessen GmbH to victory with the Suncruiser at the "European Solar Challenge" (ESC) 2014 in Zolder Belgium.
After the 2nd place at the „World Solar Challenge“ (WSC) in Australia 2013 the Suncruiser of the University of Bochum was able to celebrate another great success.
The Stanz- und LaserTechnik Jessen GmbH supported the team with important components for the wheel hub drive, one of the "core elements" of the solar vehicle.
As a partner of the University of Bochum, we take our social responsibilities. We are proud to accompany this outstanding technological development.
Take a short drive !

CoilWinding fair Berlin
Also this year a lively exchange of ideas around questions of power transmission, energy efficiency as well as the question of the way, took place in Berlin.
The approach of a complete project over the first laser-cut prototypes, the design of tooling and manufacturing processes to accompany ultimately to series, is increasingly taken up. Short development times associated with the desire to obtain the greatest possible benefit package from a single source played an increasingly important role. Therefore, our range of "laser cutting and stamping, if desired with an overmolded slot insulation", taken up sympathetically and discussed.
We thank all the partners who we welcomed to our booth and look forward to the implementation of the discussed topics.
And the winner is … Stanz- und Lasertechnik Jessen GmbH
Our stars for Siemens MC 2014
Award ceremony at Siemens MC on 2014/05/22
Stanz- und LaserTechnik Jessen GmbH was chosen by Siemens to be one of the best suppliers in Motion Control division. A total of about 300 manufacturers of Siemens in the categories Key Account, Quality, Logistics, R & D and overalls were evaluated.
25 of these 300 suppliers were invited to the awards ceremony in Erlangen. SLTJ was nominated in the category “Quality” and left the award as the winner in this category finally. The award was made by Sandra Huber and Christian Kromschröder (Head of Procurement MC).
We are very proud of this award. It is the result of a long-standing, trusting cooperation with Siemens and a great incentive to get this level of quality maintained in the future.
Stanz- und LaserTechnik Jessen GmbH is member of EASA (Association for all Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Sales and Service Providers). Fast service with laser cut laminations and stacks !
Expansion of baking capacity for larger dimensions: as of now, we offer you the option of purchasing larger baking packages than before, up to the following maximum dimensions:
External diameter: 1,250 mm
Package height: 1,000 mm
Weight: 5,000 kg
Of course, smaller dimensions are still available.
