Interlocking of non-electrical materials

Besides interlocking of stator and rotor stacks made of electrical steel the method interlocking is also recommended to produce all other kinds of metal products consisting single laminations. Those interlocked products can substitute mechanically produced products, but also blanking and forming parts. In general there are no limits concerning the choice of metal. All advantages of interlocking can be used:

  • different lamination shapes can be combined
    (for instance end laminations with reset contours)
  • stamping of switchable contour shapes
    (like indexation or positioning)
  • skewing of laminations in cutting-out station for material thickness compensation
  • level off stage to implement high flatness requirements
  • high speed stamping, low production period
